Allan Gulley, a senior accounting major, was selected as the Harbert College of Business recipient of the 2018-19 President's Award. The President's Award is designed to recognize one outstanding graduating student in each school or college who has completed at least three semesters at Auburn University with a minimum scholastic average of 3.40, including the transfer record, and who possess outstanding qualities of leadership, citizenship, character and promise of professional ability.

On campus, Allan is a member of the Harbert College of Business Executive Society. He is also a Senior Manager at the Auburn University RFID Lab, where he has led multiple industry-wide projects over the past two years. The most notable of these projects includes Project Zipper, a national data exchange study comprised of 13 major brands and retailers, and the CHIP Project, a blockchain proof-of-concept for serialized data exchange between global supply chain stakeholders. He has also acquired multiple industry certifications centered around software architecture and cybersecurity for blockchain-based solutions, with a focus on enterprise-grade applications. Earlier in his college career, Allan conducted a successful crowdfunding campaign and launched an e-commerce business, with an international footprint ultimately spanning 14 countries and 5 continents.

The School of Accountancy is very proud of Allan's award and congratulates him on his many achievements. Allan will be honored at a luncheon at the President's home in early April, and also at the SOA Awards Ceremony on April 18th.
