KPMG's Ideation Challenge (KIC) is an experience designed to stretch limits and challenge what students think is possible. Students will compete head-to-head to create a prototype of a new idea and then pitch it to business leaders. Along the way you'll work with KPMG data scientists, coders, business specialists and tech gurus, who will help bring your idea to life. If successful, they'll get the opportunity to compete in the live finals at KPMG Lakehouse and the winners will have the chance to attend KPMG's Global Advantage program this summer in Copenhagen.

Eligibility Requirements: 

• Each team must have 4 to 6 members from the same school

• Teams should have a mix of majors with at least one (1) accounting/CPA track student and one (1) technology major

• Acceptable majors include Accounting, Business Administration, MIS, IT, CS, CIS, IS, and Computer Engineering

• Teams must be multi-gendered

• All students must be enrolled in a university program with a final graduation date (including plans to receive your 150 credit hours for accounting students) of May 2023 or later

• All students must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

• Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible however, MBA, JD/LLM, and PhD students are not eligible

• All team members must be fully vaccinated

• All team members must have a GPA of a 3.01 or above
