Signature Homes Summer 2025 Accounting Internship Opportunity
Signature Homes, an employee-owned homebuilding company based in Birmingham and Nashville, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern for Summer 2025. This full-time internship offers the chance to gain practical accounting experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Interns will work 30–40 hours per week at the Hoover, AL office and gain exposure to a variety of accounting tasks supporting the company’s operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and recording journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Support the month-end close process and help ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment reconciliations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Currently enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts and procedures
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently or as part of a team
