        Biography

Greg Gagliano has more than three decades of executive leadership experience in technology, operations, and organizational transformation. During his 25-year career with Regions Bank, he served as chief information officer of Corporate Computing and led Enterprise Operations across 15 states, overseeing a workforce of nearly 2,000 employees. His experience spans large-scale technology delivery, banking operations, infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, customer support and enterprise service delivery.

Prior to Regions, Greg co-founded a healthcare technology startup and held business development, operational and supply chain leadership roles with two Birmingham-based healthcare companies in the early 1990s, including one that later became a publicly traded company.

Today, Greg leads the Harbert College of Business’s Birmingham operations and works directly with organizations seeking leadership development, professional education and strategic collaboration opportunities. In this role, he drives growth of the college’s professional and executive education initiatives by aligning Auburn’s expertise with regional workforce needs and business priorities.

An Auburn alumnus (operations management ’93), Greg has maintained strong ties to his alma mater, serving on both the Harbert College Alumni Council and the Harbert College Advisory Council. His career reflects a commitment to developing leaders, strengthening organizations, and advancing collaboration between higher education and industry.
