        Erwin Van Der Voort
        Vice Chairman, Global Investment Banking Capital Markets, RBC

         

        Erwin Van Der Voort is a Vice Chairman in the Global Investment Bank at RBC Capital Markets based in New York. In this capacity he oversees the Global Private Capital Group, servicing institutional clients such as investment holding companies, alternative asset managers, family offices and hedge funds. His team handles structuring and executing private capital transactions including debt and equity private placements. In addition to private capital transactions, Mr. Van Der Voort has significant experience in marketing, structuring and executing mergers & acquisitions, investment grade and leveraged finance and public equity transactions.

        Prior to joining RBC in October 2016, Mr. Van der Voort was for more than 20 years with Credit Suisse, where he notable established the Hedge Fund Investment Banking business in New York in 2011. Prior to that he held multiple senior roles across M&A and sector coverage teams in key global financial centers – New York, London, Dubai and Amsterdam. Earlier in his career, he was involved in Equity Capital Markets executing initial public offerings and secondary equity offerings for clients across various industries.

        Mr. Van Der Voort serves on the Board of Trustees of the William & Mary Raymond A. Mason School of Business Foundation. He earned a dual MS degree in Economics and Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

        Senator Tommy Tuberville
        U.S. Senator for Alabama

        Tommy Tuberville currently serves as a United States Senator representing the State of Alabama, having taken office in January 2021. He serves on five key committees that align with Alabama’s priorities: the Senate Armed Services Committee, the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, the Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee, the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, and the Special Committee on Aging.

        Prior to entering public office, Senator Tuberville spent nearly 40 years in collegiate athletics, building a distinguished career as a football coach. Coach Tuberville served as Head Coach at Auburn University from 1999-2008. During his tenure at Auburn, he achieved an overall record of 85–40, led the Tigers to five SEC Western Division titles, and guided the team to an undefeated 13–0 season in 2004. That year, Auburn won the SEC Championship and the Sugar Bowl, finishing the season ranked No. 2 nationally. Tuberville received multiple National Coach of the Year awards for his leadership during that historic season. He retired in 2016 as one of the top 50 most winning football coaches of all time.  

        Senator Tuberville resides in Auburn, Alabama, with his wife, Suzanne. They have two sons, Tucker and Troy, and are proud new grandparents to Rosie Grace Tuberville. In addition to his work in the Senate, he remains actively involved in community and veterans' initiatives and has announced his intention to run for Governor of Alabama in the 2026 election.

        Richard McPhail
        EVP and CFO, The Home Depot

        Richard McPhail is executive vice president and CFO of The Home Depot, the world’s largest home improvement retailer with more than 2,300 stores and approximately 475,000 associates. He is responsible for the company’s financial operations and functions that drive the company’s growth and strategy to create the most seamless, interconnected experience in retail. This includes financial performance management, capital allocation, financial services, controllership, investor relations, tax, treasury, real estate, corporate strategy and strategic business development.

        Richard joined The Home Depot in 2005 and has worked in senior roles in strategic planning, financial planning, business development, international financial management and served as the primary finance partner to all main commercial functions. Prior to joining the company, he gained international experience leading corporate development at Marconi Corporation and held positions at Wachovia Securities and Arthur Andersen.

        Richard earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and business management from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

        Richard serves on the executive committee of the Metro Atlanta Chamber and sits on the board of The Westminster Schools and Woodruff Arts Center.
