Instructional Delivery
The Auburn Accounting Online programs combine traditional instruction with modern technology delivery to offer educational opportunities to working professionals beyond Auburn's campus. The Harbert College of Business is known for the quality of its online programs, as well as for its innovative course delivery. For the fourth consecutive year, U.S. News and World Report has ranked the college among the top online programs nationally.
Online Lectures
Our traditional on-campus accounting classes are recorded and online students view their lectures via streaming video either live or at a time convenient to their work schedules. Therefore, online students receive the same instruction and AACSB accredited degree as their on-campus peers. The online options are identical to the on-campus options regarding rigor, standards, and student accountability.
Exam Proctor
Exams are administered by an approved exam proctor who may be one of the following: 1) supervisor or higher within student's employer, 2) HR personnel within student's employer, 3) local librarian or 4) representative from local testing center. The exam proctor serves on behalf of the instructor and provides a means of validating that the online student completes all course exams honestly and in accordance with university and faculty guidelines.
