Supplemental Instruction (SI) is starting the hiring process for spring 2021 SI Leaders. There will be information sessions about the work of SI Leaders from the 23rd - 29th of September.
If you’re not yet familiar, SI is a non-remedial approach to helping students gain content mastery, make peer connections, and develop skills for academic success. When a class is supported by SI, access to the SI sessions is open and encouraged for all students, regardless of their background knowledge in the subject or performance in the class. SI Leaders are undergraduate employees who previously excelled in a class and wish to work to help their peers be more motivated, confident, and successful in that same course.
