A memorial service will be held for Harris Hollans, associate professor of finance in the Harbert College, on Saturday, February 25.

The service will take place at 2 p.m. at Church of the Highlands in Auburn. The church will open at 1 p.m. for visitation with family and friends.

Dr. Hollans passed away on Saturday, February 4 after a short battle with cancer. He was 47 years old. A valued member of the Harbert College faculty since 2005, Hollans was instrumental in the development of the real estate program. His academic and research areas of interest included real estate and urban economics, including alternative definitions of housing submarkets.
