The Harbert College’s Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program recently earned a No. 1 national ranking from a website dedicated to accounting and finance education.
MastersinAccounting.info, a career and education website, put Auburn at the head of its class of Top Online Master’s in Accounting Programs. The rankings were based on a variety of factors, including academic quality, student experience and graduate success. The survey also weighed tuition cost per online credit hour, accreditation, mid-career salaries of alumni and U.S. News & World Report rankings.
Rounding out the top 5 were the University of North Carolina, Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts and Penn State University. The full rankings can be found here: http://www.mastersinaccounting.info/online-masters-in-accounting/
“Enrollment in online degree programs is increasing and schools are responding by offering more distance education programs at the graduate level - which can be particularly convenient for those who are already working full-time,” said Rob Voce, founder of MastersinAccounting.info. “Our ranking is designed to help these prospective students learn about and compare first-rate online master’s in accounting programs that offer long-term value.”
