Job Summary:
Provides analytical support and assistance to Family Office Relationship Managers, Wealth Strategists, and Portfolio Manager. Performs financial analyses to aid RM in advising clients. Builds and generates reports, gathers, aggregates and analyzes information for clients and advisors. Manages much of the preparation and follow-up related to client meetings and planning.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares reports and materials for client meetings. Prepares, builds and/or generates reports or other materials needed for client or prospect meetings including cash flows, estate summaries, performance reports, investment proposals, will abstracts, Grantor Retained Annuity Trust / Charitable Remainder Unitrust summaries, and other reports. Analyzes information and provides written updates on client goals, current situation, and potential solutions.

Manages ongoing client agenda items. Takes notes during client/prospect meetings. Works with Relationship Managers, Wealth Strategists and Portfolio Mangers to identify follow up items and then manages execution of these items. Tracks client accomplishments and agenda items and provides regular updates. Assists in gathering and reviewing tax information for clients and their CPAs.

Builds relationships with clients and anticipates client needs and opportunities. Works in tandem with relationship managers in the development of recommendations and solutions for clients and participates in client meetings. Builds relationships with internal partners at Synovus to include bankers, Synovus Trust team members and external advisors to include attorneys, accountants and others

Works with Wealth Strategists to administer Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRAT), Charitable Remainder Unitrusts (CRUT) and Charitable Lead Annuity Trusts (CLAT) by managing valuations, annuity payments and termination dates. Maintains documentation. Works with Relationship Managers and Wealth Strategists to gather information for valuations, maintain ownership percentages, calculate formula gifts and communicate with CPAs.

Works with Relationship Managers and Fiduciary Services to process estate administration including gathering assets, valuing assets, retitling assets, updating cost basis, maintaining documentation, tracking agenda items and tasks list and updating clients.

Identifies and works along side RMs with risk management issues including health, life, property and casualty, and other types of insurance. Prepares regular reviews of current risk strategies and summaries of policies as part of client meeting agendas. Interacts with a variety of agents, groups, and partners to build out the risk services offering.

Assists with updating and maintaining marketing materials including sample client books, pitch books and other ongoing branded information. Develops and responds to request for proposals from organizations and/or families through the close engagement of key team members.

Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
