        Management Trainee & Summer Internship - Rusken Packaging - Cullman, AL

        Management Trainee

        We are seeking highly motivated candidates to fill full-time positions in the Management Trainee Program (RMTP) beginning in May 2020. The Candidates will spend time in all functional business units of the Company in order to gain a wide breadth of experience as well as hone skills in areas of interest with various projects. A candidate will spend an average of three to four months in each of the eight functional areas with an anticipated full two years within the program.
         
        The RMTP provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact through various functional projects/tasks and gain valuable leadership experience. The goal with each RMTP class is to fill open, exciting opportunities within the Rusken footprint following a successful completion of the program based on interests and fit.
         

        Functional Training Areas (in no particular order)

        1.  Production
         
        2.  Plant Supervision
         
        3.  Shipping
         
        4.  Design
         
        5.  Customer Service
         
        6.  Sales Support
         
        7.  Finance and Accounting
         
        8.  Human Resources and Administration
         
        On a monthly basis, all candidates in the program will meet in a collective luncheon setting off site with the Director of RMTP for periodic check-in, feedback and assessment. No less than quarterly, the President and the COO will attend the luncheon as well.
         

        Minimum Requirements:

        ·       Enrollment in an accredited university and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
        ·       3.0 Minimum GPA
        ·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
        ·       Fast learner and ability to multi-task to hit deadlines
        ·       Detail-oriented and organized
        ·       Excellent critical thinking skills
        ·       Strong communication skills
        ·       Preferable business-related majors, but open to all majors that meet requirements
        ·       Self-starter willing to take initiative regularly to drive positive results

        Summer Internship

        Rusken Packaging, Inc. has some exciting internship opportunities at our Cullman, AL location for summer 2020. As an intern, you will be given real responsibility and a chance to learn and work with experienced leaders in the industry.
         
        You will be assigned one or more projects in one of the major functional areas below, based on interest, experience, and needs. Project and function opportunities will be communicated leading up to the internship to find a good fit that will be engaging to each employee. This experience will present an opportunity to lead and take the initiative to drive results centered around cost-efficiency and process improvement. Short-term tasks will also be given from your manager throughout the experience to expand your knowledge of the industry and incorporate best practices.

        Customer Service/Sales support
        Human Resources/Admin
        Process Improvement
         
        We are looking for self-motivated candidates who are passionate about driving positive results and have a desire for professional and personal growth. The goal of Rusken’s internship program is to grow future talent within our organization and give an excellent opportunity to display skill sets and gain valuable first-hand experience.

        Compensation:

        Interns will receive $15/hr with anticipated 40 hrs/week.
