About Edan Yago:
Edan Yago is one of the founding contributors at Sovryn, a decentralized layer-2 Bitcoin trading, lending and asset management platform that aims to be the premier financial operating system secured by Bitcoin. Growing up in apartheid South Africa informed Yago's outlook on the importance of personal liberties and freedoms. Prior to Sovryn, Yago founded and served as the CEO of CementDAO and Epiphyte Corporation, a developer of enterprise software for banks to integrate with the crypto industry. He studied philosophy and did graduate work in neuroscience at Tel Aviv University and earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. When Yago discovered Bitcoin in 2011, he got involved because he understood how Bitcoin allowed for families around the world to have sovereign control over their destinies in a way that was never before possible.
