Hancock Askew's "You First" Summer Leadership Program

Hancock Askew's You First Summer Leadership Program is a selective program for high-achieving college students interested in learning about a fast-paced career in Public Accounting. We are targeting ENGAGED individuals who want to know more about opportunities in accounting and what it is like to work for a regional firm. Selected students will experience the PASSION we have for helping people to become their BEST - both personally and professionally - as we move through a day that covers what YOU want to know and introduces you to our Hancock Askew family.

This informative, one-day event brings together students from different colleges and universities to see how the theory learned in class is applied in the workforce. Attendees will participate in career development workshops, learn about personal branding, the client experience, and network with employees of all levels to hone your team-building and interpersonal skills. Exemplary students have an opportunity to secure a future internship too. Come see what it’s like to work at one of the best accounting firms in Atlanta!

Eligibility:

You First is open to underclassmen who have completed their sophomore year and have an interest in public accounting audit & assurance, tax, or advisory services
Distinguished on campus, in the classroom, and in the community
Must possess integrity, maturity, enthusiasm, and dependability
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
