Job Description: 

Southeastern Industrial Contractors (a multi-million dollar, rapidly growing company that works on large industrial sites) is looking for an accounting student to work as a part-time bookkeeper.  Pay starts at $20/hr, depending on skills and ability.  Numbers of hours required per week and schedule are flexible dependent upon student needs (weekend work permitted). You will be supervised by a team of CPAs that includes an accountant (in-office) and fractional CFO team with Fortune 500 company expertise (remote). There is potential for this role to be an internship for credit opportunity as well as full time employment upon graduation.

Qualifications: 

SEIC prefers students with at least four semesters remaining until graduation. Candidates must be able to work well with others and be motivated and responsible enough to compete tasks while working independently. Candidates do not need prior experience or knowledge of duties below; just the ability to learn quickly.

Duties:

• Computer: You will perform tasks in QuickBooks Online, Gusto Payroll, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), etc.
• File and organize documents for the office
• Enter invoices, POs, and different documents into applicable programs
• Talk to vendors concerning invoices
