        PhD students are required to complete 60 hours of coursework, at least 10 of which must be 8990 dissertation research hours.

        Program Sequence

        The PhD in Business, Management is a four year, full-time program. You will complete the bulk of coursework in the first two years. At the end of the second year, you will take a comprehensive qualifying exam. You’ll spend the third and fourth years on research projects, including dissertation research. Completion of the dissertation and its defense is the final requirement. See detailed information about course sequence in the curriculum model below.

        Electives: PhD courses in MITI, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Finance, and other fields as approved by the PhD Coordinator/Department Chair.
