        Hall's work has appeared in Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Communications of the ACM, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, International Journal of Logistics Management, Journal of Information Technology Theory and Application, Knowledge and Innovation, Journal of Financial Services Marketing, other scholarly journals, books, and both national and international conferences.

        She has acted as a reviewer for Omega, International Journal of Internet and Enterprise Management, Managerial Auditing Journal, Organization Science, Communications of the Association for Computing Machinery, various conferences, books, and texts.

        Hall has taught courses in database, business analytics, systems analysis and design, knowledge management, organizational learning, organizational decision-making, programming, and introductory information systems classes at all levels. In addition, she has acted as a consultant for organizations updating or implementing information systems, particularly for accounting processes.

        Hall is a member of the Association for Information Systems, Special Interest Group on Decision Support, Knowledge and Data Management Systems, Special Interest Group on Human-Computer Interaction, the Organizational Communication and Information Systems Division of the Academy of Management, and the Knowledge Management Consortium International. In addition, she serves on two international grant committees.
