        Professional Activities

        Yost's main research and teaching interest is corporate finance, including corporate governance, bankruptcy and financial distress, diversification, and mergers and acquisitions. He is published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and the Journal of Corporate Finance, among others, and has reviewed articles for the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and others.

        Prior to working at Auburn, Yost taught both undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Wisconsin—Madison, the University of Miami, and Purdue University. He is a member of the Financial Management Association and the Eastern Finance Association.
