Professional Activities

Rupee Gupta is a lecturer in the area of business analytics within the department of systems and technology at the Harbert College of Business, Auburn University. She has an MBA from University of Tennessee Chattanooga along with a graduate certification in business analytics. She has a bachelor's in applied mathematics from Oklahoma State University and a bachelor's in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Prior to joining Auburn, she worked at Synovus and Aflac as a data analyst in the area of marketing and accounting.

Her skills are in R, Python, SAS, Micro Strategy, Google analytics, and SQL. She has worked on various real world analytics projects such as fraud detection, lead generation, sentiment analysis, and driver analysis.

Her teaching interests are in the area of data analytics, machine learning, programming, databases, etc. Her teaching interests are in the area of business analytics I & II.
