Dunn's research focuses on auditor characteristics and the determinants of audit quality, as well as other auditing, financial reporting, and regulatory topics. His research has been published in Contemporary Accounting Research and Issues in Accounting Education. He was a recipient of the Accounting Doctoral Scholars fellowship awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and has received awards for his research and teaching as a doctoral student. He has also presented research and served in other roles at many American Accounting Association (AAA) conferences.
Dunn teaches auditing where he utilizes his five years of auditing experience at Crowe Horwath and Kemper CPA Group. He holds an active CPA license in both Alabama and Kentucky and is a member of the AICPA and AAA.
