Why did you choose the Auburn Executive Master of Real Estate Development program?

I chose the Auburn MRED program to further my education in Real Estate Development.  In speaking to many colleagues and friends and researching programs, I found that Auburn was highly ranked and distinguished as one of the leading MRED programs worldwide. I was honored when I received my acceptance as a 2020 Auburn MRED student.

As you conclude your first week of residency, how would you describe the experience?

In reflection of our first week of virtual residency, I must say it was very busy.  At times, it seemed like a marathon.  The professors are very knowledgeable and very open to aiding and assisting in our learning.  I enjoyed the fast -paced process.  It gave us a complete saturation into the world of real estate development.  I loved every minute of it.

mbaMy key takeaways from the residency week are building a foundation for the cohort, now and into the future.  The experience has shown me that the MRED program emphasizes that the principles, financial knowledge, understanding, networking and team creativity is at the core of producing the best and brightest as we go on to redevelop the world - one building at a time.

When we can welcome you and your cohort to campus, what are you most looking forward to?

When we can visit campus, I am looking forward to meeting in person all my professors, MRED support team, and our 2020 Cohort.  I am also looking forward to walking the campus and attending Auburn Tigers football games. War Eagle!

What do you hope to achieve through the Auburn Executive MBA program?

Through the Auburn MRED program, I want to achieve the knowledge and background I will need in real estate development.  The MRED program is the starting point for me to grow and expand the Waukegan Housing Development Corporation into a major development company.
