On February 22nd & 23rd, 2019, five Beta Alpha Psi officers represented the Epsilon Omicron chapter at the Southeast Regional Meeting in Jacksonville, FL.
During the two-day meeting (held at the Jacksonville Marriott), officers participated in a variety of activities and presentations. The keynote welcome speaker was the CFO for the International Speedway Corporation in Daytona, and a leadership activity followed. On Saturday, the officers learned best practices from other chapters through idea-sharing presentations, and even presented on our own RISE mentorship program between BAP and the Financial Leadership Society. The conference concluded with a series of professional development seminars, with topics such as "The Virtual Work Skills You Need," and "Communication Across Generations in the Workplace."
In August, the officers will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Beta Alpha Psi by attending the annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois. We expect to once again be recognized as a SUPERIOR CHAPTER, which indicates our "above and beyond" mentality.
