You can begin your Online MBA in either the fall or spring semester. Applications are now open for Spring Semester 2022. We are no longer accepting Online MBA applications for Fall Semester 2021.
Please visit our admissions website to view all application dates and deadlines. Once an official admissions decision is made, you will receive notification from Auburn MBA Programs and the Auburn Graduate School. If offered admission, you must both accept our offer of admission and pay a $250 confirmation fee to secure a spot in the upcoming class. It is advised to apply early in the application cycle to be considered for your preferred entry term.
We allow students to transfer in up to six credit hours (or two classes) that will be applied toward elective credit. We do not accept transfer credit for core classes.
The Auburn Online MBA program accepts transfer credits under the following conditions. All conditions must be met to be considered for transfer. If the courses meet the below requirements, you may submit them for review using the instructions below.
Transfer credit can be evaluated with an unofficial transcript, but will not be approved or applied to the Auburn record until an official transcript has been received and evaluated.
The Auburn Graduate School requires minimum English proficiency scores for international students.
Applicants may qualify for an exemption depending on official government language and medium of instruction. An Australian applicant, for example, may not be required to submit an official TOEFL or IELTS score. However, a resident of Quebec, Canada, would.
Exemptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but we generally process the exemption for an international student who received an undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
Graduate certificates are a great way to add an additional credential to your MBA. The following graduate certificates are offered through the Harbert College of Business:
A separate application for the certificate is required. Students considering a graduate certificate must apply through the Graduate School.

Students considering a dual degree must apply through the Graduate School.
Online MBA students are required to come to campus only once at the end of the semester in which they take Integrated Business Project & Case Analysis (BUSI 7310), more commonly referred to as TRAC (Team Resourced Applied Consulting). Students will need to work with their advisor and plan accordingly to take this course toward the culmination of their MBA degree.
The Harbert College of Business offers its MBA in three additional formats.
