Nominations are being accepted for an awards program honoring Auburn University’s
top alumni entrepreneurs.
The awards, presented as part of the 2019 Auburn Entrepreneurship Summit hosted by
the Harbert College of Business, will recognize established and emerging alumni business
leaders from all academic disciplines. The award categories include:
- Entrepreneur Hall of Fame: Open to alumni who graduated more than 10 years ago, the Hall of Fame honors individuals
who have demonstrated significant professional accomplishments in their business careers
and persevered in the face of adversity. Previous inductees include Stryker Corporation
Chairman Emeritus John Brown, Simulations Plus Co-Founder Walter Woltosz and former
Accenture Chairman Joe Forehand, Jr.
- Entrepreneur of the Year: Open to alumni who graduated more than 10 years ago, this award recognizes business
leaders for significant achievements during the previous calendar year.
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Open to alumni who graduated less than 10 years ago, this award recognizes individuals
for their entrepreneurial spirit and achievements in launching or leading a business.
- Top Tigers Awards: These awards recognize the fastest-growing businesses founded, owned or led by Auburn
University alumni. Companies are ranked in the small, medium and large categories
on the basis of revenue growth.
